A Wing and a Prayer, A novella from from Flying Star Adventure starring Stella Baker. A brewing epidemic threatens to wipe out an Alaskan mining town, and when the pilot contracted to fly the doctors and serum to the inaccessible town comes down with appendicitis, Stella Baker steps in. But the pilot doesn't have appendicitis; he was poisoned. Someone doesn't want help to get to the town, and will stop at nothing to keep the aid from getting through.

Fair Means or Foul, a novel-length story from Flying Star Adventure starring Stella Baker. There's a lot going on at the Tri-State Fair; robbers who vanish at will, mysterious flying disks, even a cannon pointing at the heart of the fair. Is it all connected? And the fair ends in six days, so the master stroke whoever or whatever is haunting the fair has in mind will happen soon. Stella doesn't have any idea what that master stroke is, and if she can't unravel the whole mess in time, she and everyone else will find out the hard way.
